This is for all cars running running a DCT (dual clutch transmission).
This class is open to all cars that are running their factory equipped dual clutch transmission – R35 GT-R, McLaren, Porsche PDK cars, Lamborghini Huracan, 2014+ Audi R8s, etc. This class carries a minimum diameter wheel size of 17”. Methanol and or nitrous are not allowed. Methanol injection kits are allowed if it is an off-the-shelf system. Methanol systems using fuel rails and or fuel injector powered methanol systems are not allowed. All cars must run a DOT approved tire front and rear. Full interior is required. Passenger seat may be removed. Factory dash is required and no exposed metal* – cages and roll bars are allowed to be exposed.
This class will carry an 8.500 ET breakout. Any car going quicker than 8.500 during eliminations will be disqualified. In the event both cars break out, the “first or worst” rule will be in place with the car breaking out the worst losing that round. If a car breaks out during qualifying, that run will not count.
R35 GT-Rs can run any 2009-2019 OEM manifold turbo using the stock 2-bolt compressor cover. 2020 model year cars are allowed to use their OEM manifold and turbo housing with an upgraded turbo as long as it maintains the stock 2-bolt compressor cover.
PDK Porsches may run any stock location turbo system.
McLarens may run any stock replacement upgraded turbo.
DCT R8s and Huracans may run twin turbo systems.
*No exposed metal except where added safety equipment restricts you from doing so. (A, B and C Pillars along where a roll cage runs, fire suppression systems, etc.)
This is for R35 GT-Rs only and must use the VR38 engine and GR6 transmission.
This class is designed for GT-Rs using up to 58mm upgraded turbos with the OEM or aftermarket manifolds. Turbos must be in the stock location. This class carries a minimum weight requirement of 3750lbs with driver. GT-Rs in this class will typically run high 7s to mid 8s in the 1/4 mile. Methanol and or nitrous are not allowed and it requires a turbo compressor wheel inducer limit of 58mm. 15” wheels are allowed as well as slicks that do not exceed 28” in diameter.
In the event a fellow racer wishes to contest someone's turbocharger, a $750 contesting fee will be required from the contesting party. If this inspection leads to an illegal turbocharger for that class, the racer in question will be removed and the $750 will be returned to the contesting party and the racer at fault will be disqualified from the event. In the event that turbocharger in question is deemed legal, that $750 will be awarded to the racer in question and he will be allowed to return to racing.
Turbocharger size will be verified by one or both of the following methods: (1) By measuring the housing bore at the leading edge of the impeller wheel. The maximum diameter of the housing bore at the leading edge of the impeller wheel may not exceed 2mm more than the maximum allowable turbocharger size permitted in this class. (2) By measuring the impeller inducer wheel where the leading edge of the inducer wheel meets the housing. The wheel/blade contour from the inducer to the exducer must be continuous without steps.
This class is designed for GT-Rs using up to 68mm aftermarket stock location turbo kits. This class carries a minimum weight requirement of 3650lbs with driver. GT-Rs in this class will typically run mid 7s to low 8s in the 1/4 mile. Nitrous is not allowed and it requires a turbo compressor wheel inducer limit of 68mm. 15” wheels are allowed as well as slicks that do not exceed 28” in diameter.
This class is designed for upgraded turbos using up to 76mm aftermarket turbo kits. Any turbo location is allowed. This class carries no minimum weight requirement. GT-Rs in this class will typically run low to mid 7s in the 1/4 mile. This class requires a turbo compressor wheel inducer limit of 76mm. 15” wheels are allowed and there is no tire size limit in this class. There is also no trap speed breakout limit for this class. This class requires some form of engine and transmission diaper setup.
This class is a no holds barred GT-R class. Any R32, R33, R34 or R35 is allowed to compete. This class requires a GT-R Specific engine from any year (RB or VR based). RWD and AWD GT-Rs are allowed to compete and this class carries no transmission, weight, tire or fuel limitations. This class requires some form of engine and transmission diaper setup.
